I have been working on an adapter to add one more faucet to my 2 1/2 " Tower. You can buy a 3" adapter , but I've found no 2 1/2" adapters. I have the solution. E-mail me if you have interest.

I keep all of my kegs cleaned and ready for filling. I've seen a number of ideas on how to full the kegs and with these in mind picked up some extra tubing and an extra beverage out connector for my kegs. After using this method this weekend to rack the Nut Brown Ale, I decided to write down the steps so that I would be sure to remember them each time in the future. The other day, a friend joined me for my brewing day. We made a Nut Brown Ale. We did a double batch, aiming for 11 gallons of wort in the fermenter. According to the recipe I was using. I believe I gave him a good introduction to brewing. What to worry about, what not to worry about, and so on. He's a chef by training, so it was easy for him to pick up on the fact that some parts are more critical than others.
In my method, brewing day is about not sweating the small stuff.…

Tomorrow is planned brewing day. A friend is interested in the craft, so he will be joining me to get a feel for the process. We are going to do an all grain 11 gallon batch of a Nut Brown Ale. He's a chef by training so I don't see the point in boring him with an extract that he could easily do in his own kitchen. No we're going to jump right into the world of all-grain brewing. Making a craft ale from scratch.
